Five years after the Indian Ocean tsunami

One of the worst natural disasters in recent history
The scale and intensity of the 2004 Indian Ocean tsunami was unprecedented in Habitat’s 30 years of partnering with families around the world.
Now, a half decade after the tsunami, it is both inspiring to see the reconstruction that has taken place and troubling to consider the immense need that remains. Habitat for Humanity is more committed than ever to address that need.
